Autobooks prepares to move.

The last Saturday at the old Autobooks location. Not to worry...they moved a short distance away.

Supercar Sunday, May 30

An incredible array of cars turned out for Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills
including a number of gorgeous Italian exotics from the mid-sixties.

Jay Leno showed up in a Corvette-powered hot rod. That's noted car collector Bruce Meyer talking with him.

Triumphs at Autobooks - May

The Triumph club always has a good turnout at their annual Autobooks gathering.

Miscellaneous Meets at Woodland Hills

More pics from various Supercar Sunday meets

The last Sunday in June - Corvettes and Ford GTs!

Holy shmoly...Bruce Meyer brought the first production Cobra sold.
(Note to experts...yes, it was modified from its original specs. More info here.)

Lamborghini Day, March 28

Lamborghini Day at Supercar Sunday (the last Sunday of the month) in Woodland Hills. There was certainly an impressive selection
of Lambos (I wish there were a few more classics), but I think the real attraction was the diversity of the rest of the pack,
including a few gorgeous classic Ferraris. This was probably the largest turnout since this venue started in January.

Heading to the event early Sunday morning, I saw this beautiful Miura on the freeway - a first for me.

Queen's English, March 14

Another great showing at the annual Queen's English All British Car Show. (www.Queens-English.org)

Ferrari Day, Woodland Hills, February 28

Wow...over 100 Ferraris on the last Sunday of February. Lots of modern stuff, but a number of classics.

Thanks to my fellow miata.netter, Askut, for the above panoramic shot.

And, of course, many other interesting rides...

Woodland Hills, February

The weekly meet in Woodland Hills is turning into a pretty good show.
Here are a few pics from several Sundays in February.

In February, car collector Bruce Meyer, who brought his incredible 1957 Testa Rossa below, brought two
other gorgeous Ferraris. The silver car won it's class at LeMans in the early '60s.

Woodland Hills, January 17

At the end of 2009, the meet in Calabasas was shut down. Fortunately, Dustin Troyan, the guy who had organized that meet, put together
another weekly meet in Woodland Hills. We had a great showing the first week. More info here.

A GTO with a very famous history. It was the very car loaned to Car and Driver magazine for a road test back in 1964.
It turns out that the car was a ringer...it actually had a high performance 421 cubic inch engine.
More info here.

There I am with Dustin on my left. Car collector Bruce Meyer brought his gorgeous (and very valuable) 1957 Testa Rossa.

Various vehicles from miscellaneous meets - 2010 (in no particular order)

A few from the annual Mustang meet at Woodley Park

A rare and original supercharged Shelby GT350

Some days is seems like every other car in Montrose is a Cobra...and "real" ones at that!

About two dozen Vipers showed up this morning in Montrose

An all-steel Coddington roadster!

Healeys don't get much prettier than this one!

Matt Stone wows the crowd!

Ron Lee's beautiful new Lotus. (That guy has got one nice toy box!)

A 1960 Ford customized by the famous
Alexander Brothers

I saw a number of interesting replicas this week.

They're all real!

Tim Allen's famous truck - it was on some TV program and in lots of magazines.

This Jaguar XK120 falls into the "Oh my gawd!" category...it is perfect.

Ron Lee has quite a collection. Here is his gorgeous "new" mid-30s Lagonda.

A rare Porsche Carrera. (Check out the plate!)
