1981
Mazda GLC

Day of purchase
November 4, 1980

Rhonda purchased a new Mazda GLC in November, 1980. "GLC" stood for Great Little Car - which it was.

The back seats folded flat which was perfect for transporting our big dog at the time. Together with the big hatchback, it was a very practical car. One thing I remember was that it turned on a dime - a very small turning circle. I think it could make a u-turn in one lane!

The pictures to the left were taken on the day we picked it up. I think it had over 100,000 miles in the picture above.

We were sure lucky to go through the '80s with two wonderful, reliable and economical little cars.
